A Legacy of Support: celebrating 10 years with Ajuntament de Calvià

Since our inception in 2017, 6Points has enjoyed a remarkable partnership with the Ajuntament de Calvià, Calvià 365 Foundation and Calvia ICE. As our ‘home town’ local government, their support has been the cornerstone of our success, helping us evolve into the premier cycling event we are today.

This enduring bond is built on a shared commitment to:

  • Community Engagement: Fostering local pride and charitable impact.
  • Cycling Excellence: Promoting a safe, considerate, and world-class cycling culture.
  • Infrastructure & Growth: Providing the crucial backing and resources needed to scale our mission.

As we look toward the future, we do so with immense gratitude for Calvià’s unwavering support. Together, we continue to push boundaries, chart new horizons, and – most importantly – raise vital funds for those who need it most.

“The partnership between 6Points and Calvià is more than just sponsorship; it is a shared vision for community, charity, and the spirit of sport.”

A decade of difference: 6Points gears up for our 10th Anniversary edition of Reverence Hotels 6Points Challenge Mallorca.

If you thought 6Points 2025 was a peak experience, hold on to your handlebars. As we look towards our 10th Anniversary ride, the energy is higher than a mountain pass in the Tramuntanas! We aren’t just celebrating ten years of cycling; we’re celebrating a decade of community, sweat, and life-changing impact.

So, how do we raise the bar for this milestone? Here is a sneak peek of what to expect in our biggest year yet.

More riders, more support

Our goal is to make this the biggest and best 6Points ever, with a target of 90 riders. To ensure the intimate, high-quality experience you love, we are:

Limiting group sizes: smaller, more agile groups for better safety and flow.

Boosting support: adding extra Group Leaders and Support Crews to ensure you always have the support you need.
Fine-tuning routes: our classic routes are getting a ‘10th Anniversary’ refresh to include the most scenic and rewarding segments Mallorcan roads have to offer.

The big goal: is to get to €400,000 raised for our amazing local charities

This year, we are aiming for our most ambitious fundraising target ever: €70,000. If we hit this mark, 6Points will have raised a staggering €400,000 for local charities since its inception. Every pedal stroke brings us closer to that historic milestone.

An experience like no other…

To mark the occasion, every rider will receive two limited edition 10th Anniversary jerseys. You’ll be looking sharp from the first climb to the final descent.

The celebrations off the bike are also hitting a new level:

  • The Gala Dinner: Saturday night will be a night to remember.
  • The Finale Fiesta: We’re closing out the weekend at our new home base, Kuko , perfectly situated in the stunning Port Adriano. Expect a vibrant Reggae band to keep the vibes high and a feast of Argentinian-themed food to refuel those tired legs.

Celebrity guest announcement: we are delighted to announce that we have a world-renowned rugby captain and cyclist joining us for 6Points in May!

Special guest: Colin Charvis

A true titan of Welsh rugby, Colin Charvis joins us with a resume that speaks for itself. As a former captain of the Wales national team and a standout British & Irish Lion, Colin remains one of the highest-scoring forwards in the history of international rugby. Known for his relentless work rate and versatility on the pitch, he earned 94 caps for his country and competed at the highest level across three World Cups.

Since hanging up the boots, Colin hasn’t slowed down; he’s traded the pitch for the road, becoming an avid cyclist and a powerhouse in charity endurance events. We are thrilled to have his leadership, energy, and competitive spirit with us this year!

Help us raise even more for charity in 2026 with these handy fund-raising tips!

Whichever 6Points ride you choose to do in 2026, we’d love you to raise as much money as possible in support of our well-deserving charities: Asdica, SoS Animal, and Shambhala Foundation.

Raising money for charity requires planning and tenacity! Here are some fund-raising tips to help you on your journey and to ensure we achieve our €400,000 milestone.

Create compelling stories: share stories of the individuals or causes that will benefit from the funds raised (check out https://www.fundacionshambhala.org/, https://www.sos-animal-mallorca.org/en/sos-animal-majorca/, https://www.asdica.com/ for more information on the children, people and animals that benefit from 6Points support). Personal anecdotes and real-life examples shared with friends and family in person or via chat groups/email, help motivate people to donate.

Social media campaigns: utilise platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to spread the word about your cycling challenge. Use tags, compelling visuals, and regular training/ride updates to keep followers engaged.

Matching donations: secure matching donations from individuals or your company to encourage others to give. For example, for every euro donated during a specific time frame, the matching donor will contribute an equal amount, effectively doubling the impact.

Community engagement: engage with local communities by organizing pre-event rides, group rides, or awareness campaigns. Building a sense of community around your cause can lead to increased participation and donations.

And don’t forget, all 6Points Mallorca riders MUST raise a minimum of €250 in donations for our charities. You, your family and friends can donate by visiting www.6PointsChallenges.com and using the DONATE button (remember to ask them to include your contact details when they do this), you can also do this personally by transferring €250 (or more) to: 6Points donations account: ASOCIACION 6POINTS CYCLING CHALLENGES, ES43 2100 3793 6122 0048 5352 Swift/BICC:  CAIXESBBXXX.

Preparing for our 10th anniversary Reverence Hotels 6Points ride

The Mallorca 6Points Cycling Challenges Rider Playbook is the official preparation guide for participants in the 2026 event, the 10th anniversary edition of this charity cycling challenge.

Developed by Grant Goodman of Basecamp (our official Endurance Coach), the Playbook sets out everything a rider needs to know before arriving in Mallorca: how the event is structured, what is expected of you, and how to prepare effectively. It covers the core ethos of the event, safe, smooth, collective riding over individual performance and explains the group placement system, Ride Leader roles, and the non-negotiable standards that apply across all routes and groups.

Three signature routes are described in detail: Everest (533 km, 8,900+ m climbing), Muntanas (415 km, 5,800+ m) and Valles (373 km, 4,100+ m), each with distinct terrain demands and rider profiles. Group tiers Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte and Frappé are explained alongside practical guidance on route selection and self-assessment.

Practical sections cover pre-event skill drills, pacing and regroup discipline, nutrition and support stops, incident management, and key navigational awareness points on the island.

The Playbook is required reading please find it here: https://6pointschallenges.com/app/uploads/2026/03/6Points-Rider-Playbook-2026.pdf

Riders who understand it arrive better prepared, integrate into their group more quickly and enjoy 6Points to its utmost.

Making a difference: Showcasing the great work of our three 6Points charities
